In-home design consultations and price quotes are free. Our designers are
available for in-home consultations Monday through Friday during our regular
business hours. We'll come to your home, measure your space and prepare
preliminary drawings of your custom unit for your approval. Creative Wood
Design charges a $300 flat fee for schematic drawings and an initial proposal
which, should you sign a contract with us, will then become part of the total cost
of your custom unit.
If you agree with the estimated cost and upon signing a contract with us, we
typically require a 50% down payment, with the balance due upon completion of
your project to your full satisfaction. Visa, Mastercard, American Express,
personal checks and cash are accepted.
The most significant factors that go into pricing custom cabinetry are the size
and complexity of a project. Nearly every design feature can and will alter the
price of a job. Here is a list of factors affecting cost:
*Material (wood type)
*Door style
*Finish
*Hardware (handles, hinges and slides)
*Accessories (keyboard trays, media drawers, lighting, glass shelves, file
drawers, etc.)

offers fully and truly hand-made custom woodwork. If you receive a lower bid
elsewhere after speaking with us, ask questions about their materials and
building methods. Take a tour of their showroom and shop. Look inside, behind
and underneath their finished product. Also, be sure to ask about their

CWD offers a one year warranty on the finish of custom cabinets and a lifetime
